The plan for the restructuring of the Water and Sewerage Authority will involve a 40 to 50 per cent reduction in its executive staff according to the Public Utilities Minister.<br /><br />And the Chairman of WASA says it is too early to say how many of a total of 5,000 staff members will be sent home.<br /><br />The Minister said Cabinet is reviewing the compensation package for the new executive team that will lead the restructuring of the water authority.<br /><br />Juhel Browne reports.
